Our Story
Agustin Mota, general contractor and founder of Mota Contracting, Inc. was born in Mexico and has been a resident of Healdsburg, Ca. for the last 43 years. He started his construction experience by training as a union journeyman carpenter and working for local Construction companies since he was a teenager. Originally creating his Company Mota Builders in 1989, which evolved into Mota Plastering as he specialized in Custom stucco and Plastering work for a few years, having done many custom residential and commercial stucco projects in the Bay area, Sonoma and Napa Counties including the exterior stucco and interior plaster of renown Casa Cabernet in St. Helena, CA, designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta.
The company geared back to general construction as Mota Contracting, which became a corporation in 2006.
Our Team
As the company continues to evolve, we find ourselves blessed to include in our team second generation family members, including son Agustin Mota Jr. an excellent finish carpenter, nephew Randy Fincher who has worked with us for the last 12 years, daughter Andrea Mota, assistant office manager, son Emmanuel Mota, technology consultant and Maria Flores, office administrator and C.F.O. of the Company.
